Sibuya Game Reserve is an exclusive game reserve in the Eastern Cape. They cater for approximately44 guests per day.
They used to purchase and supply drinking water in plastic bottles for the guests. Sibuya Game Reserve have a borehole on the property. They use the borehole water for all their water requirements, including washing and toilets.
Sibuya Game Reserve Management identified the need to have a cleaner solution to drinking water where no plastic bottled water would need to be transported to their lodges. In addition, they also needed to soften the borehole water to avoid costly repairs on the geysers, kettles and irons as they began eroding with an excess of calcium from the borehole water.
